PR & Events Assistant

The part-time PR & Events assistant will support the team in developing and executing successful public relations and event strategies. The perfect candidate is a college senior or recent graduate, highly organized, deadline oriented, enjoys creative writing, can successfully handle multiple projects at a time, and is very comfortable with social media. Duties including but not limited to:

  • Creating and distributing press materials and social content for a variety of clients
  • Clerical duties, including coordinating press meetings
  • Monitoring print, radio and television coverage for regular clip books
  • Assisting with new business inquiries and RFP process
  • Conducting post-event media follow up
  • Assist with events including promotional days, launches and
    media trainings.

If you have:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience 
  • Self-confident and outgoing personality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – outgoing and customer service oriented
  • Professional written and oral communication and etiquette
